Congratulations, you have been invited to attend an interview with Protégé! You are one step closer to securing your dream role!
How to prepare for an interview with Protégé?
It can be easy to view an interview with a recruitment agency as somewhat less important as with a direct employer, but this is certainly not the case. At Protégé we take the recruitment process seriously and we expect candidates to do the same.
Dress Corporately
First impressions make a big difference and this is your opportunity to show that you are perfect for the job. Whether registering for temporary work or applying for a permanent position that has been advertised, it is important that you dress as you would for an interview with a direct employer. Remember that Protégé recruit on behalf of an employer, if you don’t make a good impression with us then you might just miss out on going through to the next recruitment stage. If you are not sure how to dress, please give us a call as we are more than happy to offer you any advice or guidance.
Be Honest
Protégé are here to help you. If you are applying for other roles it is very important to let your recruitment consultant know especially if you have already applied for the same position with the company directly or with another recruitment agency. Being in demand is a good thing and being transparent when interviewing is important.
Testing
If necessary we will ask you to complete a few computer assessments in order to test your skills. For e.g. if applying for an office support role we will ask you to complete Microsoft Word, Excel and a typing speed/accuracy test. This can take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Registering for temporary/ contract employment
If you are registering for temporary employment you will need to bring with you:
- Tax File number
- Superannuation details
- Bank details
- Proof of photo identification (driver’s licence/ passport)
